Here's one you can add to the monthly successes if you want:

I was detecting with my friend Tony, who you have met when he visited Austin at
one of our meetings, at Hammanasit Beach in CT, when we came across 5 park rangers
searching the sand for a lost wedding ring.

Tony and a friend from his club were detecting in the beach sand and I was in the
water. I made three passes about 100 yards along the beach, getting to about thigh
deep when the wife showed up and suggested where she thought it might be.

I went about 10 feet further and got a really strong signal - a giant 10K white
gold ring! It fit loosely over my gloved thumb!

The entire family was extremely happy - they had been searching for 3 days and had
notified Ring Finders for help. That guy showed up about a half hour late and was
visibly disappointed that his service was not needed.
